Choosing a Home Inspector or Inspection Company

It's important to make sure your home inspector is properly licensed and certified. You can, and should, ask for their qualifications, background, and experience.

All home inspectors in British Columbia MUST be licensed with the government through Consumer Protection. In addition, Inspectors who are licensed through ASTTBC are certified to a higher standard than what is required by Consumer Protection.

Before the Inspection

A Clear Home Inspections service contract must be read, completed, and signed before the Home Inspector arrives onsite and the Home Inspection is carried out. This is now required by law and to be in compliance with our insurer.
